Since 1997, we have met every year at a place of political persecution where our parents were imprisoned and where we were born. Our meetings are always combined with a public event and a discussion with contemporary witnesses and are sponsored by the Federal Foundation for Reappraisal. In the beginning, some of our mothers were present, but today it is almost only us children from back then who can report.
Our 2021 meeting will be held September 19-21 at the Bautzen Memorial.
